OWF potential for nature enhancement and multi-uses
WP1 looks at how offshore wind farms (OWFs) can combine energy production with nature enhancement and multi-uses in a realistic and sustainable way. By bringing together current knowledge about the long term ecological and social effects of OWF we identify designs that support synergies. We define the economic contribution of OWFs to ecosystem services and translate the findings into formats that make the results usable in decision making practices.
